Dove Hunting

Twisted Pine Hunting Preserve offers dove hunting on the opening day of the first dove season in the state of Georgia. Our dove fields are located in Harris County Georgia, along the banks of the Chattahoochee River, with one of the most scenic views in western Georgia.  Dove hunts include shooting from 2:00 pm until one hour before sunset. Saturday's hunt includes a catered barbecue in the evening after the hunt.   *Note:  All times are Eastern

We have three large brown top millet fields planted only for dove hunting. Large round hay bales are strategically placed throughout the fields to help ensure safety and success. Stands are on a first come, first served policy. We only allow 40 hunters per hunt.  Water and soft drinks are provided throughout the day.

For the out of town guests who wish to come early, we have accomodations available upon request. These accomodations have limited room and fill up fast; we recommend that you book early.
