Whitetail Deer Hunts
Twisted Pine Hunting Preserve offers 3, 4, and 5-day whitetail deer hunts during archery, muzzleloader and rifle seasons in Alabama and Georgia. You may choose the days of the week for your hunt to best fit your schedule. Deer regulations are designed to manage the deer herd under quality deer management (QDM) guidelines, which are designed to protect fawn and yearling bucks and strive to have a deer herd in a balanced sex ratio slightly below the carrying capacity of the property. Legal bucks include those with a minimum of 8 points. Hunters must not only determine if a deer is antler-less before they shoot, but must also determine that it is a qualifying buck or doe. Antler-less deer are not always does. An additional doe may be taken for a fee of $100 Non-Hunters $50 per day (if space is available)
A variety of blinds and stands in different settings are already set up for your use. All stands have a pull-
up rope and a bow or gun holder. There are also stand sites available for climbing tree stands if you choose to bring one of your own. Trails to stands and blinds are marked with reflective markers and brightly colored flagging to help you find your way in the dark. We put minimal pressure on our deer herd by only allowing a limited number of deer hunters per week.
We plant a variety of food plots throughout the year available for hunting. Mineral stations are also provided for the deer throughout the year.
Each hunting package also includes lodging in our lake and river front cabin on our 400-acre Georgia property on the Chattahoochee River.
Alabama Hunts
We offer 3, 4, and 5-day guided whitetail deer hunts during 
archery, muzzleloader, and rifle seasons in Alabama. We only hunt 4 hunters a week on this property in Alabama to maintain minimal stress on the deer herd.
Your day begins before daylight when your guide drops you off at your tree stand or blind. Pick up is at 10:00 am. Hunters may choose to be picked up at a later time or stay on the stand all day. After grabbing a bite to eat and some relaxation, you will be taken back to the property again at 1:00 pm. We will also assist you with retrieving your deer from the woods, quartering your deer, caping and storing it in our cooler for the duration of your visit.

Georgia Hunts
We offer 3, 4, and 5-day guided and semi-guided whitetail deer hunts during archery and rifle seasons in Georgia. We only hunt 6 hunters a week on this property in Georgia to maintain minimal stress on the deer herd.
Semi-guided hunts mean that we will help you decide where to hunt based on recent sightings, scouting observations and trail camera 
pictures. We will also assist you with retrieving your deer from the woods, quartering your deer, caping and storing it in our cooler for the duration of your visit.
